About Ashimi Temitope @_temioflagos
Ashimi Temitope is a conceptual photographer, interested in digital and AI arts.
“I use my art to connect and I also use my heart to express myself on the web3,” says the Nigerian artist.
How would you describe your work?
I would say my works are feelings that anyone or everyone can resonate with, I create most of my work from my own personal experience about life and I hope it brings joy & happiness and healing to my collectors.
How did you get started with NFTs?
I got into Nft thorough a friend we are in the same crypto master class, when he introduced me to it, around august last year, I joined his community called billionairenft was with them for like months as a creator, so I finally started my own collection march year.
How have NFTs helped you as a creator?
Nft has given me quality connections and friends around the world, through web3 I can finally express myself better through art and also bring joy and happiness to other creators I collect.
What advice would you give to creators who are new to the NFT space?
To those who are just joining, I would say starting Nft journey isn’t an easy one, don’t go into it because you want to make money, if you don’t have passion for what you are creating then it’s as good as death trap, you must feel what you create before others can resonate, be kind, be cheerful and believe everyone has a collector who will eventually resonate with your art no matter how long it took.
What has been the biggest challenge in your NFT journey so far?
Unfortunately, time, internet, electricity, as a Nigerian citizen we lack most of these.
What has been the biggest challenge in your NFT journey so far?
I would love to see people’s floor prices and work liquidity in their bios, as well as in their sales analytics.
